Martin embarked on a successful career with the company in 2001 and has nearly 30 years overall experience within Financial Services. He has maintained his commitment to improve his technical knowledge and competence with additional qualifications achieved in Long Term Care and Equity Release planning. His wealth of practical experience, combined with his dedication to provide the highest possible standards of advice and customer service, has enabled the diverse range of individual and corporate clients to embark on and maintain beneficial long term relationships.
Martin is married, two children and lives in Merthyr Tydfil. His interests out of work revolve mainly around DIY, football and socialising with friends.

Steve started his career within the financial services industry in 1996 during his 26 year employment record with HSBC Bank. He then joined Insurance Services Wales Limited in 2012 as a Financial Adviser. He felt this was the perfect time for him to utilise his expertise, vast knowledge and experience gained while with HSBC Bank with a new range of clients, being able to offer products and services from the wider market. In 2015 the company was expanding and a decision was made for Steve to become a joint Shareholder/Director to support Martin with the focus on growing the business further. Steve brings a wealth of experience, combined with his professional high standards of advice and exemplary customer service to the firm.
Steve is married with children and lives in Merthyr Tydfil. His interests outside of work revolve very much around his family, although he does coach at a local mini Rugby club and is a member of the Merthyr Triathlon club.
Kath became a qualified mortgage adviser with Insurance Services Wales in 2016. After working for the company as an administrator processing mortgages on and off for the last 15 years. She felt that she had gained a wealth of experience/knowledge in the mortgage market which could be put to good use as an adviser.
Kath offers a friendly and professional service from start to finish when providing advice on mortgage borrowing and mortgage protection services. She prides herself on excellent customer service whether you’re a first time buyer, home mover or re-mortgaging your existing property.
Kath is married with two children and lives in Church Village. Her interests include reading, walking with her dog and socialising with friends.
Laura has been working in the finance industry since 2013. She joined the firm as an administrator and has developed her career over the last 7 years. She understands the importance of communication and building trust when developing relationships with clients and prides herself on understanding customer requirements and dealing with each request with the utmost care and attention. Laura provides advice in all financial areas, including Mortgages, Protection, Pensions and Investments.
Outside of work Laura has two children at home - who keep her busy! In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and socialising with friends.
Annika has been working in financial services since January 2018 as a mortgage and protection adviser. Annika prides herself on providing excellent customer service to her clients and builds up good working relationships.
In 2003, after leaving school Annika took up an opportunity to purchase a bookmakers and managed two betting shops. Since then, Annika has progressed to an on-course bookmaker and has built up a portfolio of horse racecourse pitches across the UK.
Outside of work Annika has a great passion for horseracing and following sport. She enjoys going out for meals, travelling and socialising.
Has worked in the Financial Service Industry for over 21 years as an administrator, having worked for Ashley Law for 20 years before joining ISW in March 2020.
Current role is to provide support to the advisers and general office duties.
Married with 2 Children and 1 Granddaughter and has a passion for animals and currently has 3 cats and 2 dogs.
Interests outside of work are spending time with her family and friends, walking the dogs and running. Also she is a company director at Rhymney RFC and has been the Social Treasurer there for 5 years.
Ffion is the most recent member to join our team. After achieving a 2:1 in her bachelor of honours degree in Education, Psychology and Special Educational Needs, she decided to change path and took on a role within Legal and General. Here she gained her experience within the finance industry, which she now uses to support and carry out general office duties within Insurance Services Wales Limited.
Interests outside of work include spending time with family and her dog, socialising with friends and baking.
Allan started his career in financial services in 1990, before setting up his own practice in 1996 under the Ashley Law name, which built an enviable reputation for high quality face to face advice, purely built and expanded on client recommendations.
In 2018 he made a decision that as he will now spend about 6 to 8 weeks a year visiting his daughter and family in Australia and in order to continue providing clients with the high level of service they have been accustom to he decided to merge with another local practice that would continue with the same high standard of ethics. So In February 2020 Ashley Law become part of Insurance Services Wales where we can continue to deliver the level of advice and service required.
Outside of work he enjoy walking, fishing and travel.
